Something in the light
People have marked the shifting light for thousands of years. Solstices. Harvests. The first frost.
Most of us stopped noticing when the light changed without us. Some people find that paying attention to seasonal light affects their energy and mood in ways they hadn't connected before.
What's the light doing to yours?
What you'll need
- A window you look out of
- A few minutes, same time each day
- Somewhere to write one line
Method
Notice the light when you wake.
Note the quality: bright, grey, golden, flat. One line is enough.
At the end of a week or so, look back. Notice whether anything shifted, in the light or in you.
