A tree you pass
There are trees we pass every day. Most we never really look at.
Trees change slowly, and watching one is a quiet way to mark time. Some people find a single familiar tree becomes a small anchor in the day. Some research suggests that even a little greenery may ease stress and lift mood.
Which one is yours?
What you'll need
- A tree you see often
- A minute when you pass it
Method
Pick one tree you pass often, and make it yours.
Each time you pass, give it a proper look. The shape, the leaves, the light through it, what's changed.
Notice the small things, a new bud, a fallen branch, a bird.
Visit it for a week or two, and notice how it shifts day to day, and whether the pause changes anything for you.
